I'm Back

Okay, so I know that I've done a horrible job posting this summer. Literally abysmal. But I'm going to get better! This summer has been unexpectedly busy, which is the worst kind of busy to me. I didn't expect my summer job to be so hectic. I didn't expect the month of July to fly by with trips to Atlanta, a Tim McGraw concert, and a random bout of illness that left me coughing for a month. I didn't expect to receive so many questions and e-mails for Law Review and Legal Skills, and for these two things to take over my life the few weeks before classes start. The only thing I did expect was for my research assistant job to be very relaxed, which was perfect.

Anyways, that is seriously enough about that. Next Monday I start my last year of law school. What better way to commemorate that than by a...wait for it...likes and dislikes list! You know you missed it :)

Likes
- Ice water with lime (and a straw): This has become my go-to drink. There is absolutely nothing more refreshing than that.
- Laughing cow light garlic and herb cheese wedges: Think alouette but with 35 calories.
- Homemade blueberry sorbet, strawberry ice cream, and peach ice cream: Charlie busted out the ice cream maker and we turned in-season fruit into summery miracles
- H&M khaki shorts from last season: Love rediscovering clothes
- Netflix instant streaming: Instant gratification in the form of Top Gear and Julie & Julia? You bet.
- Urbanspoon App for iPhone: It's like a slot machine for restaurants. It uses your location and picks a restaurant in your location for you (you can set price points and types of cuisines). Perfect for the indecisive!

Dislikes
- Dog allergies
- Any songs by Gary Allan
- The fact that there is no Tivo or Grooveshark App for iPhone
- Pur water filters

I promise to be better with the posting! I'm bringing back Hadley's toy of the month (August has a good one). For now, I'm going to sit by the pool to enjoy my last day of summer. I've got a Welcome reception I have to go to for the incoming 1Ls and a Legal Skills staff meeting tomorrow. Have a great weekend!
