From Square to Round

Just thought I would share these photos with people. This is the top of a small round table I am making for Mom and Dad. I just thought it would be neat to share the how-it's-done process photos. After gluing up the wood blanks and flattening the top, I attach a plastic jig I made to a router and cut out the circle.



After the circle is cut, I scrape and smooth all of the edges.

Here is a final picture of the project before finish:


I like it. I just don't know how I'm going to be able to get it into the car...
