The scene: 10 AM, Room 119, 3rd Row, 4th seat from the left, people settling in for a Wednesday of classes, and I'm just starting to take notes. Then, BOOM"So let's apply our roller coaster hypothetical (I'll spare you the details, but at its goriest, it involves an child riding a roller coast falling 100 feet and impaling himself on a tent pole--downright cheerful) in terms of negligence. How would you show negligence in this case? Virginia?"
GULP...
He worked me over for 1 hour and 8 minutes (FYI, our class lasts 1 hour 15 minutes) going through about 4 versions of the hypothetical and 2 separate cases. Afterwards, I literally collapsed out of my chair, my whole body was so tense
At least he recognized it, when I saw him later that day. That should at least get me off the hook for a week or so.....
