Whew! What a week!
Charlie's been working hard at the shop and these past Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights I tried out for the ADR team (ADR = Alternative Dispute Resolution). The ADR team is one of the teams at school where we compete in competitions including negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, or, in other words, alternatives to trial. I didn't really expect to make it and didn't have huge expectations considering I have no experience (though my dad did tell me I could argue with the best of them). Shockingly, I found out yesterday that I made it! I was really excited and couldn't believe it!!
This weekend is going to be busy but fun. Charlie's parents got here yesterday and are here through Sunday. We went to CW (Colonial Williamsburg to non-locals) and to the Outlets. Bobber and Liz are getting here later tonight to celebrate Thanksgiving with us (or the day I used to know as Columbus Day before I married a Canadian). We're heading to Busch Gardens on Sunday and yes, that's three amusement park trips in about two months for those of you counting. I'm on fall break this weekend and don't have class on Monday and Tuesday.
