When I came for orientation last year the week before classes started, I wondered why 2Ls and 3Ls were in the library, seemingly working. They couldn't possibly all be doing reading for Monday classes -- surely not because that would be a little overwhelming. The mystery is solved, ladies and gentlemen. They were citechecking. Citechecking during their last days of freedom before actual graded classes start. Citechecking when it is 85 and sunny outside.
Citechecking is part of journal and basically consists of checking every source an author has cited and making sure it actually says what it should say. Then making copies of said sources.....
I know, I know, it's a hoot.
I bet y'all are just begging Charlie to post anything because it has to be more interesting than what VA is doing. But come on, I posted Nora the piano-playing cat. She has skills.
