Pounding the Stairs

It's the first week of classes and I'm trying to settle back into my school routine. There are little things that used to be second nature last year during classes but now I'm trying to get back into the swing of things and keep forgetting stuff. The forgotten item list includes:

1) Computer cord (biggest problem, thus far)
2) Wallet (not as much of a problem since Sharon at the check out desk knows me and lets me know check stuff out without my ID -- love her)
3) Mustard (I make my lunch at school and I've eaten dry sandwiches the past two day -- ugh)

The latest adjustment has been the large amounts of time I've been spending in the basement of the library. I don't like the bottom floor of the library and NEVER used it last year for studying. My locker was upstairs and I much preferred to study up there. Well, this year, the law review office, journal printers, and citechecking room are all in the basement. My carrel is upstairs, after I changed it once (I know, high maintenance), and I thought it wouldn't be a problem because I'd just go down there every once in awhile. Well......plan kinda broke down.

This year apparently everyone wanted a locker this year and when I went to get one, there were only basement lockers left. Since I'm superparanoid about leaving my computer out, I didn't want to leave the computer out and I also didn't want to lug my computer to all my classes since I don't take notes with it. Long story short....I've got my own stairmaster built in at school.

So far, its working out okay, but I'll feel better once I feel once I get settled into my classes. I still feel a bit out of sorts.
