Two Sickies in the Brown Household

Sorry for the two-month hiatus! We really didn't intend to be gone that long, but it's been a busy final semester.  I've got 3 weeks of class yet (eek), 2 papers, 2 exams, and 1 blueline left before graduation.  It's kind of surreal that graduation is that close, and I haven't really had much of a chance to think a lot about it.  Right now, I've just been finishing up journal stuff, getting ready for exams, and planning our move.....

Sigh, our move.....My firm is paying for us to move from Virginia to Georgia (new location to be announced shortly), and I had no idea how involved picking a moving company was.  Well, it apparently involves "surveys."  Where a person comes in and walks through your house, asks questions about furniture, asks whether I have washer/dryer moving kit (what is that?), and writes a bunch of stuff down.  What is really incredible about this is that the moving company will actually do our packing for us.  That means they'll pack our dishes and kitchen, which really is the most annoying.

Works on so many levels.

Anyways, back to the subject of this e-mail.  Charlie and Hadley are sick.  Well, the wheels on Hadley's bus have been falling off for a while.  Charlie has been sick since Monday with some sort viral infection (read: no magical cure).  Charlie's been taking it easy the past few days and might be on the mend.  I'm just hoping I don't get it....

As for Hadley, well.... Her new nickname is Deep Raging Infection (DRI, for short) and Flesh-Eating Zombie.  Both of these relate to huge hole on the side of her face where there should be skin and hair and there's just ...... scabs.  Gross, right.

We're getting close to our move to Atlanta, we might be limping toward the finish line, but we're definitely advancing :)
