However, this is not the biggest news of the day, but it is keeping with my whole countdown theme and "lasts" posts, April is the last month that Charlie and I will be renters! We are closing on a house in 2-3 weeks! Here's a picture of the front.
Here are the stats:
- 3 Bedrooms (but really 2 because the 3rd one is really more of a den -- and we might knock the wall between the kitchen and this room to open it up and add some french doors to the deck we're going to add on)
- 1 Bathroom (it's VERY blue right now)
- Huge, Fenced-in Backyard (with lots of trees): Hadley is going to love it
- Medlock Neighborhood: it looks right out over the baseball fields (Charlie and I are okay with it)
We're really excited about and our current plan is to live in it as is for the summer (it has new hardwood floors and fresh paint) and start planning the renovations we'd like to do for the fall/winter. Right now it has a lot of walls, and I'd like to knock out some walls. We'll keep you posted on our updates.
For the summer though, it means grilling out and enjoying the Atlanta (oh, excuse me, I mean unincorporated Decatur) summer whilst studying for the bar :)
