Until the end of my law school career!
So today was spent writing a paper on the impact of board diversity on corporate governance and the 2009 SEC Proxy Disclosure Enhancements, eating Pierce's Pitt BBQ with my 1L Legal Skills firm, driving Charlie to pick up his car from dealer after his 80K mile service, more writing, looking at houses, and now dinner at Fat Canary!
My amazing 1Ls from my Legal Skills firm gave me a gift certificate to Fat Canary -- for being awesome, if you're wondering why :) -- and there was an availability at 8:30 tonight, so Charlie and I nabbed it. Nice little break during paper writing.
This semester I have two papers and two exams. I've written a first draft of one paper and am in the middle of my second. This week's agenda is to finish a rough draft of this paper tomorrow, outline Monday through Friday, and revise this paper next week (it's due Monday week). My exam classes are both only 2 credits apiece, so there's not a ton of information to cover, which is nice. There are officially only two weeks left of class: I have 8 classes, 2 papers, 2 exams, and 1 blueline between me a law school graduation.
Also, if the weather would make up its mind and stay in the 70s, I would be a much happy camper. I'm sorry, but 50 degrees in April is unacceptable to me. Reason # 456,009 Virginia is not part of the south.
That is all. Hope you're having great weekends!
