Hi!!How was everyone's weekend? We had a hunkered-down weekend because we got about 8 inches of snow Saturday. Somehow it managed to stick even though it was 60 degrees on Thursday -- I think it was just the volume.
January flew by -- WOW, I can't believe it is almost February (toy of the month to be announced shortly). Again, I ended up being really busy at the beginning of this semester, but I think I've finally got the hang of it. I like my classes -- they are very corporate heavy, but that is what I'm looking for. So far my favorite moment in class when my corporate drafting professor referred to litigators as "gators." Loved it.
We had brunch yesterday with Mary Katherine and Gardner (complete with mimosas!). I made cheese grits and we had some leftover so we had brunch again today with bacon, scrambled eggs with gruyere, pomegranate smoothies, cream cheese coffee cake, and grits (obviously). I took pictures of it, but they turned out terribly.The picture on the right is a picture of big french press (for Charlie's coffee) and little french press (for my tea, which I've aptly named Monty -- think about it, it's pretty clever, I'm not gonna lie).
February will be a fun month I think. Charlie says February flies by since it's so short. Charlie's birthday and Valentine's Day are coming up!!
