My last final is tomorrow morning. Four hours about real estate tax. It actually won't be as bad as it sounds because I have pretty good professor. There are only a few of us that are still taking finals (excluding the 1Ls, which I am choosing to do).
However, people keep telling me "just one more." For the record, I hate that phrase. Maybe it's because I've had bad experiences with that phrase. You say "just one more"and I immediately have flashbacks to my old swim coach Craig telling me "just one more layer" in our lasagna workout, which actually means another 800, followed by 4 100 sprints. I don't care who you are, that really isn't deserving of "just one more" status. Neither are law school exams -- do you think anyone is going to dare tell me "just one more" after graduation when I have to take Bar? No. Thank you very much.
Though it will be all over at 12:30 tomorrow, and there will be no more fall finals or classes for me ever! Next semester, I may only need to take one exam (maybe two, depending on how these finals actually go), so hopefully this will be my swan song for weeks (and weekends) in the library.
One good thing did come out of this: StereoMood. This is another awesome music streaming website, like Pandora, but instead of picking a song/artist/genre you like, you pick your mood. Like Pandora, it's great for not having to create a playlist because this does it for you. It's fun, it's new, it's different. The trifecta :)
Hope you're staying warm. Stay tuned for my open letter to the State of Virginia on how 17 degrees is unacceptable.
