The Wave of the Future

So, today I had a video interview with a firm. I must admit I was a bit nervous about it, given all the concerns: can you hear me? can you see me? is there a 5-second lag? See where I'm going here. Well, I pleasantly surprised with the technical aspect of this:

The top image is where the interviewers were and I'm supposed to be on the bottom. I would have taken a picture while in action but I think the interviewers might have frowned upon it. Here's my seat (I definitely could have gone "newscaster" style and worn shorts underneath):


All in all, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I will breathe a deep sigh of relief when this whole interview season is over...
