Ding Ding Ding Goes the Trolley

So the latest addition to the marvel that is Williamsburg is the Williamsburg trolley. I've seen it circling around New Town for the past couple of weeks when I realized that they were serious about it. As in, the good people of Williamsburg (read: Ohio tourists) will ride around in it and use it to get from point A to point B. Point A being the Governor's Mansion and point B being the cooper? Which is, fyi, right down the street!!

I was reading the section Bill Bryson's The Lost Continent: Travels in Small Town America about Williamsburg and I think he was right on. The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation must be trying to trick people into thinking there is absolutely no parking in Williamsburg. Let's just clear this up:
  1. There is PLENTY of parking in Williamsburg
  2. You do not need t0 buy a ticket to walk around in Williamsburg -- that is a lie
  3. You do not need to park at that weird Visitor's Center and take the shuttle with the rest of the Oklahomans. See number 1.
