Success!

Yesterday was quite an exciting day for me:
  • Hair cut and highlighted? Check.
  • Swimsuit Coverup? And on sale? Check and check.
  • Summer produce of cherries, blueberries and white plums? Check.
I got my haircut (mainly just trimmed with layers) and highlighted which took about 2.5 hours, longer than I thought, but my stylist was a Chatter with a captial "C." I mean, wow. I like to chat initially but after awhile, I just like to sit there and read my book. It was nice though because there was no one scheduled between us (i.e. she foils my hair and then goes to foil another person's hair) so really we were only waiting on the color to set. A big plus.

After that, Charlie and I set off for Short Pump mall in Richmond which has a Nordstrom's (BEST shoe department). They were having a big sale and I managed to find a strapless cover up for almost 50% off! Tres exciting.

Charlie and I stopped by Whole Foods and Tom Leonards (a farmer's market in Richmond) after the mall and picked up some fruit and snacks, including honey roasted sesame sticks, dried mango and a snack mix.

Question: Anyone watching the Open Championship? I am glued to the TV!! Go Watson!
