So far this three-day weekend has been a bit of brush with the United Kingdom. Last night, Charlie and I saw the new Harry Potter. Loved it. My favorite Harry Potter film yet -- Lavender Brown and Professor Slughorn are scene stealers! Today consisted of a LOT of the British Open. The British Open tends to bring back memories of our honeymoon because the Sunday we were flying home from San Francisco, we sat in an airport bar eating lunch watching Serg combust during the playoff with Padraig Harrington with crowds of people pressed against the glass of the bar watching from the terminal. Well today, Tiggy kind of dropped the ball. I know a lot of people are tired of Tiger winning but I like to root for Tiger because you can always count on him to make the clutch shot. Though it was pretty cool for Tom Watson to make a birdie putt on 18 to tie for first. Charlie and I both hope that he isn't this year's Greg Norman.
Tonight we're celebrating Gardner's birthday and tomorrow I'm getting my hair cut (!) before heading out to Richmond with Charlie for the rest of the day. Keep your fingers crossed that I find a cute bathing suit coverup.
