Navarre Beach '09
This is the first year in my whole life that I will miss my family's annual beach vacation. This year is especially significant since it marks the first time since 2004 the Nettles Clan is returning to Navarre Beach. We will be in a new house (or houses since our family has grown so much to require additional housing), and Navarre will be a new place to a certain extent since the hurricanes required such extensive rebuilding.
I am sad to be missing that this year. I will miss Juana's and sitting in the sand watching the jet skis in the bay. I will miss crossing the bridge that gives us the first glimpse of Navarre. I'm also sad that Charlie won't get to experience the joys of playing Hidden Creek or Tiger Point for $39 with a coupon. I'm also excited for everyone for everyone to get back to Navarre and can't wait to hear their reactions: what's new, what's the same, what's different.
