Today is my parent's 40th wedding anniversary! So, first things first,
Happy Anniversary!!
Being just shy of two years of marriage myself, I realize what a feat this is. However, when it comes to them, Mom and Dad are two peas in a pod (sometimes, opposite ends of the pod, but the same pod nonetheless).
My parents are incredible people who have encouraged me, fought with me, praised me, pushed me, coached me, loved me. They taught me to win with humility and to lose with grace, to maintain a sense of humor and laugh at myself, to catch myself before tripping over a curb (literally and figuratively), to know what a salt cellar is, and to eat steak rare.
I'm very lucky to have such wonderful parents and just wanted to take time to say so.
