Here's a follow up from a project that I mentioned back in February that we completed and installed in early March. It was a banquette that was designed / built / installed by us in the shop. I think it turned out pretty nice. The seat and railing on the seat backs is mahogany. This was my first experience using mahogany and I'm a big fan--but it's just a little too pricey for me. I'll be sticking to good ol' American cherry or walnut unless we hit the jackpot.
There are two drawers located at the facing ends of the two short runs of the bench for storage. Including more would not have been a big deal, and probably would have been neat, but was not asked for.
The picture is a little blurry. Oh well.
When this oak entry door is completed I'll try to remember to post some pictures as well.
