Hi Y'all!!

The Arctic blew through Virginia (and states farther south as well) this weekend. At 8 a.m., it was 6 degrees and the high in Williamsburg today was 27. I went to Richmond today with Charlie to get my computer fixed and then sat at a Starbucks to do some homework while Charlie was at work. The Apple store is in Short Pump, an outdoor mall on the outskirts of Richmond. Well, today is not the best day for an outdoor mall. Witness Exhibit A:

I think that really sums it up...

I hope that everyone is settling into the new year. So far, Charlie and I have had a great start to 2009 and hope it keeps going. Another woodworker in Richmond "headhunted" Charlie to do work for him on Fridays and Saturdays. For this company, Charlie will get to do more fine furniture and work with more hand tools. He can tell you more about it, but we're very excited about it!!

I got my grades back, except for one, and was really happy about them. I'm glad to report that I made it through my first semester of law school. So far this semester, classes are going well. I definitely think that this semester will be busier than the last since ADR and Public Service Fund are gearing up.

We're enjoying 2009 so far and hope you are too!

Love~VA
