The Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review got married last weekend. This week he mentioned that he's been eating leftover wedding cake for breakfast, lunch and dinner, so I asked him what kind of cake they had. He told me and I asked him which was the wedding cake and which was the groom's cake. To which he replied, "what's a groom's cake?"
Try explaining what a groom's cake is. Go ahead, try it. And no, "it's the groom's cake" is an insufficient explanation. So last night I mentioned this to Charlie and he told me he had never heard of a groom's cake before we got married. I must say, Charlie played it off pretty well at the Baker's Man.
So finally I gave up and showed our Editor-in-Chief this picture (though Charlie's groom's cake was not a traditional groom's cake):

Today's an all-day library event while I finish my tax outline.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
