Big goings-on in my world of woodworking. I bought my very first table saw. It's a pretty awesome saw and got it for a steal (Jeannie, it's niiiiiiice). It even came with the Cadillac version of today's industry standard rip fence (not shown). I'm excited.

It's a Powermatic 66 built in either 1967 or 1968--back when American tools were still made in America and with real American iron. Weighing in at about 350 lbs, she is certainly stout.
Also, my workbench is 90% complete. The vise hardware came in the mail this week and I routed out a housing for the tail vise. I have marked the holes to drill in the top and will install the face vise this coming week. After that I'll apply some boiled linseed oil and it will be ready for use.

I can't wait for my own garage.
