Pancake Tuesday

If I may opine, Shrove Tuesday should be officially renamed to Pancake Tuesday as that is how I remember it growing up. Never mind Mardi Gras, or what ever those wannabe-Canadian, the Cajuns (look it up, it's in their history), want to call it, or Fat Tuesday, or Shrovetide, or anything of the sort. Pancake Tuesday the name is perfect; direct and to the point. What? Pancakes. When? Tuesday. Any questions?

Virginia is at her first Law Review executive meeting tonight and when she gets home we're having, yup, you guessed it, pancakes.

Pancake Tuesday means Easter is just around the corner. But, more importantly, for some people Pancakes Tuesday marks beginning of a countdown to the date of something more significant. Something that awakens the soul of every aspiring afternoon nap taker. That something? The Masters.

For the record: I had nothing to do with the posting of those three stupid chihuahuas.
