So today was the first full day that Charlie and I have spent together since.....March, I think? Between him working long days and me studying over the weekends preparing for exams, we've mostly been able to eat dinner together and occasionally grab a quick lunch. We spent most of the day just sort of tooling around -- we went to Macy's to try and spend a gift card but couldn't find anything to buy (odd, that never happens) and also walked around in downtown Williamsburg. Lots of people and lots of dogs (all kinds!) were out and about. We finished up the day watching the Players' Championship, which is my favorite golf tournament to watch (because of the island green on 17, obviously). Tomorrow Charlie is back to work and I'm back to working on write-on but it was a good day with great weather to get to do some stuff together!P.S. Happy Mothers' Day to our wonderful mothers out there! Hope you had amazing days! Y'all deserve them!
