Last night Charlie and I caught the Grand Illumination in CW. It's a fireworks show that CW does every year to kick off the Christmas season and they shoot fireworks off from 3 different locations simultaneously. It's a pretty good show and for someone who equates fireworks with Summer holidays (Memorial Day, 4th of July), it's definitely an experience getting all bundled up to watch fireworks. We stood next to a couple who used to live in Williamsburg and now live in Ohio, but they come down every year for the Grand Illumination. It's a nice way to get in the Christmas spirit: crowds of people that aren't at the malls!
