The A stands for Awesome

It's funny how after a four year hiatus, in the past three weeks I've gone to two (two!) different amusement parks and had the ability to enjoy some pretty amazing rides. Along with the return to roller coasters came the return to funnel cakes and a new found treat--deep fried Oreos.

Virginia wins the award for the roller coaster rider of the day. She managed to ride every roller coaster except the Ghoster Coaster. Maybe next time, Scooby.


Hadley (that's our dog), unfortunately, had to stay at home and guard the house. She was rewarded today, though, as we spent some time down at the James River where she got a chance to swim and run in the water.

Also, welcome to Virginia's brainchild--the You're a Good Blog, Charlie Brown blog (clever name, eh?) and welcome to sharing in the minutia of our life together. This sure beats the heck out of facebook and myspace.
